$270 seems a bit steep to me? That is the price right? For that you could almost get two sets one for your low beams and one for your fogs!

Well, not really! Look up REAL panasonic HID's and you'll find they're nearly twice that price!

Why is everyone caught up on Panasonic HIDs? The best are Phillips, Osram, or Denso. Also the higher the color temp the less light output you will have. I wouldn't recommend anything over 6000k.

I am VERY VERY knowledgable in this area.

Are you all looking for a group buy? The best place to get HIDs would be www.hiddepot.com

I can probably get a group buy price if you want. I'm a member of Clublexus where there are THOUSANDS who have done HID conversions and Retrofits (including 5 that I've personally done).

I've heard really good things about the Panasonics, such as durability and customer service from the company!

Phillips are awesome and they are generally alot cheaper, I'm almost 100% certain that phillips are what cadillacs use! My buddy bought some pilot hids for his 03 bonneville and hasn't had a problem! Not to mention the bulbs are the only thing that are phillips on the set you are looking at, everything else is different. My father-in-law gets stuff imported from japan and china and everything internally is made by one company and branded by sony, phillips, pioneer etc.... Just because so many things say pioneer or phillips or sony alot of things have the same guts when they are no-name vs. name brand. Sometimes you do pay for the names of things...many imported electronics have the same guts but different covers and names...thats all i'm saying.
