Horn Failure, any suggestions ?
I am a new member, and a new owner. I have a 2005 X-Type and my horn will not operate. I have gone throught the fuse boxes and all test well. I can see the horns under the battery. I do not have an owners manual to determine the fuse/relay positions in order to do further testing. Can anyone help me with this ?

Brian, first off, welcome to the forums. You will find lots of useful information here. So, sit back, grab a cup of joe and learn a few things about your car.
Secondly, we ask that you introduce yourself in the new member section. Helps others get a feeling for who you are and what brings you here. So, if you would please, stop by and tell us a little bit about yourself.
As for your problem. What I would tell you to do is to first prove the horns work themselves. If you look on the horns, you will see a single wire coming off of them. Disconnect this wire and then install a jumper wire between the positive of the battery and the connector on the horn. Did the horn sound? If no, then you have a bad horn. Buy a new horn. If the horn does sound, then let me know and I will give you a few more checks to make. Most of the time it is simply the horn giving up the ghost from being exposed to the elements over the years.
