Default How to bypass anti theft on 2004 X Type 3.0

Since nobody ever wants to put information online on how to do things like this because they're scared somebody is always trying to steal somebodies car. I will help people out who might find themselves stranded and really just can't afford a tow truck or for whatever reason you system has activated and won't let your cars start.

first put your key in the car and turn it to the third position so you'll hear everything activate on this next step

then get a paperclip if you don't have one use something else or go to the closest store and get one. Mine has rubber coating that I had to burn down some. Go to your engine fuse box.

Locate your starter relay and remove it. This particular model is R10. If yours is a different year or a different model it will probably be different but this might work for all jaguars once you locate the correct relay I'm not sure tho.

Stick the 2 ends of your paper clip in like so. I believe it is 5 and 1. You should hear your engine sort of be fine to ready for ignition. Make sure it's in there good or this will not work. Hurry up and get inside your car and turn the key the rest of the way and watch your car fire up. As long as the paperclip is in your car will not stop so if you're going to drive it home like this to park it or to the *********** to get it fixed make sure it is very secure and get there quickly. DO NOT REPEATEDLY DRIVE YOUR CAR LIKE THIS!!!! This is a quick loophole to get you home for a dollar or even free if you already have a paperclip. I am not responsible if you damage your car or use this information to do something stupid this is for emergency situations only. I just recently got stranded and nobody could help me so I had to tow it home. I'm trying to save somebody the hardship of towing their car clear across town when they can easily drive it

There is a big fuse across that relay which you are bypassing...so it is a really good isea to watch for smoke! If you have a "terminal short" somewhere, this will be hardwiring it!

true that is something you want to look out for this can cause damage to a car which I covered in the Origional post this is just an emergency kind of thing when you're stranded and have no other options. I got stranded clear across town and had to get towed all the way back to my house. The dealership flat out said they have no idea what's going on and they probably can't help me so I figured out a way to at least start the car to try and be able to get it out of my life. I'd rather drive my Benz or my lexus tbh. I find it kind of funny that they stared out S T E A L E R S H I P on my post tho

Don't forget that if you modify your car you should inform your insurance company.
You know, just in case.

Not so big a deal in the US, Steve. Most insurance policies don't care about mechanical mods, and they'll cover add-ons up to about $1000 (700)...a very different world!

That's not bypassing anti-theft. Try it with an unprogrammed key.
