Kevin, first off, we may razz you and give you a hard time in a joking manner, but we will never ridicule you (if someone does, let me or one of the other moderators know and we will fix it anonymously). As for the plug, it has a little button that you need to push in and then you pull the plug straight out. You may find it easier to get the battery box out of the way first so you can get a better angle at it. I also find using a small screw driver with one hand to depress the button and then moving the plug with the other hand to work a little better.
As for helping out, I see it this way: how can I ask other members to help out the people here if I don't do the same thing. I'm a big advocate of "do as I do". Also, I find that keeping the talking going and helping out of each other is what makes this forum different than other forums out there.
All that I ask is after you find the problem, let me know. I keep a tally of what goes wrong with our cars. I also ask that if you find someone else that is in need of help and you think you can help, help them out. Think of it as "passing it forward".

Thanks Thermo for the information. I’ll give it a try this week. I’ve already reached out to Motorcarman as he has some radiator fan control modules for sale. Which may be what I need and it looks like getting an OEM now requires buying more than just the module. Maybe being too proactive. But from what I read, and what I see under the hood this may be the issue.
As far as ridicule for posing a question, not too worried about that. It was really more of a sense of self deprecating humor. Don’t think anyone here is going to get to me. Plus I have an Ex-wife, I’ve pretty much heard it all. Not too worried. But thank you again for the information. I appricate your sense of paying it forward. I try to live that way as well. I’ll let you know what I find with the fans.
Have a great week,

GREAT type up guys. this helps me out so much you dont even know. i just found someone in hawaii with r12 for my 92 and im going to recharge it tomorrow. but now that i have read this thread im going to check the air movement in the engine bay etc. like you guys suggested before i buy this very expensive refrigerant. i wonder if the idiot i bought the car from put 134a in the car before he sold it to me not knowing it was the wrong refrigerant. is that possible? the hoses match up dont they?
