2004 X-type 3.0 AWD
140,216 miles as of today. I am original owner. Just starting to have some serious issues. Cylinder #3 misfire reports continue after replacing all coils, plugs, mass airflow sensor and upper gaskets. About to look for a replacement injector. Car still looks great and until this issue ran perfect.

My last day with my beautiful X-Type...
Had it since 2006 - bought new from Jaguar of Chantilly...
60,000 miles and finally decided to trade it in for an Infiniti Q70 AWD Sport. Considered an XJ 3.0 AWD (we already have a '10 XF - not too impressed with the XF). Was offered an amazing deal with Rosenthal Jaguar of Tyson's...the X-Type was one of the best cars I've owned and the best looking for sure!
Still young at heart!
The most tasteful interior - I had a 120GB iPod permanently connected. The bluetooth connectivity was excellent!
Not a scratch on the rims. Looks like the day it drove out of the dealer lot
Little details from original jaguar stem covers, to perfect condition wheel caps. Riding on better than OEM Michelin Pilot Sports.

03 X-type with 145,500
I've got a babied 2003 X-type with 145,500 miles on it. No major problems so far. Replaced water rail & radiator, brakes, all belts, tuned up once, O2 sensors, and now ABS sensor issue.
All just normal stuff.
Will drive this cat until it becomes a problem in the wallet.

I'm at about 187k now. Gets a full motor rebuild this winter before boost application (to handle the power)
Little kitty got a complete suspension and steering rebuild/upgrade over this last winter, it feels better than ever. I contemplated selling it a couple times but I have an all new love for this thing since all the upgrades. Can't friggin wait for the power to match the handling ability and physical appearance 😆
Happy X-Typeing folks

Mine is a '03 3.0 automatic. I've had it a little over a year now -put about 8,000 miles on it, which brings it up to a little over 118,000 miles. I've had the usual vacuum leaks, + a/c compressor went out -but it's almost 14 yrs. old! Still runs like new -perhaps the best car I've ever owned. .............
