I bought my X-type 2.5 SE sedan in 2006 with 59000 miles on it....
... It now shows 142000 on the oddometer.
Due for a few minor replacement parts... drop links and rubber bushes on the sway bars and it has a noisy outer cv joint on the front RHS... due to be fixed soon...
...but... it still goes like stink and is a wonderful car to drive... I'd like to replace it...
...
...with another one a lower mileage 2.5SE that I would put on LP Gas and run it dual fuel.
.. The only things stopping me are finding one as highly specced as mine.. with fold down rear seats and the current jobs climate.

I have an 02 2.5 x-type, I bought it last year around November with 87000. It runs great and has a very good ride as of today I have 94468 miles on it. The car is just a sweet ride and all stock. I take it that who ever traded it in took very good care of it. I keep it polished and do the maintance on it myself, and it's parked in the garage. Great car

Bought my 2007 Jagwag new in Dec 2006. 64,600 miles later, it still drives as well as it did with 3 miles out the lot of the dealer. My wife and I share this our only car. Change the oil twice as often as manual recommends, religiously follow the maintenance schedule. Only problems so far is burned out Xenon bulbs and keeping Ford F150s out of my tailgate. Toyota collision shop in Brandon FL (recommended by Nationwide and now by me) made it good as new after 3 weeks. Also, I finally figured out the "DSC System Fault" indication really means "Time To Change the Battery" in case anyone is wondering about that. My Jagwag is a joy to drive. Outcornered a Beemer wagon on the I-75/I-4 ramp east of Tampa - the AWD really holds the road.

Only we noobs could POSSIBLY be interested in this thread ...
Just picked up my '04 today. (See? I told you I was a noob.) Had 69,888 miles as I left the lot. I predict putting on about 15k miles a year into the future. During that same time period, I'll put about 5k on my Caddy.
