How to push hub onto knuckle?

Have you tried heating the knuckle? Are you using some type of a drift to help keep all the pressure even on all sides? Maybe they got in there crooked?
I haven never done a bearing replacement on my X-Type so I'm kind of in the dark on the workings of them exactly. I'm replying mostly because I feel your pain!
You may have to go to a NAPA style auto parts shop which has a shop and have them pressed in????

The ongoing saga...decided to pull the hub out since it was stuck halfway in and wasn't moving...it pulled the new bearing apart.
Am going to see if the local Jag dealer can sell me another bearing and press it into the knuckle AND press the hub in at the same time.
Taking the knuckle back off a second time was seriously easy...less than ten minutes. Took two hours the first time becasuse every bolt/nut was frozen, etc.
All in all, this process is very frustrating for me at this point. I want it done and over.
