How To Replace Bulbs in Vanity Mirrors FAQ
I figured I'd take the initiative to write a DIY on this topic since it was asked recently and no where on the site does it mention how to. I took some pictures to show people how to do it and how much space they have to work with if they ever want to upgrade their interior to LEDs.
I'm not sure if this will be locked and FAQ since it is pretty much straight forward but here we go anyways.
1. When you open the vanity mirror you will notice there are two small indention's on either sides. Grab a small flat head screwdriver and pop open the cover to expose the bulbs.
2. Once the cover is off, you can see the bulbs are held on by two metal contacts.
3. Pull the bulb out and your ready to replace your lighting in your vanity mirrors!
I hope this helps...

Hey 620, great looking write up which I'd like to FAQ.
I did sumthin very similar a while ago on my A6 and added links to where I bought the bulbs from and also a brief rundown of bulb numbers / quantities etc that really helped.
I wonder if perhaps you had this info and would like to add to what you've done already?
Great job so far c/w pics etc and much appreciated.
Many thanks
