RE: i need a battery!!!!!!
Ididn't mean I couldn't have bought a cheaper battery, I just commented that this particular dealer was selling the Jaguar battery for less than the quotes given to some owner on this forum.
As for the Die Hard I don't buy them anymore. Use to be that's all I used but several years ago I had a run of bad luck with them. This happened in 2 different vehiclesand theDieHard's actually died quite easily and quickly, like less than 6 months for I think it was 4 batteries. The lastone I justask for my money back vice another battery. I haven't bought another Die Hard since then.
When this Jaguar battery goes I'll probably shop around to find a replacement.

Battery 101
I always buy Sears Die Hard batteries and here's why.
As has been mentioned, there is not a lot of difference in batteries. The real difference is the place you buy it and Sears has invested millions of $'s marketing the Die Hard brand. Accordingly, they work very hard to maintain the brand image and will replace it no hassle if you have a problem during the warranty period. And Sears will be around to handle the replacement. So, go with the retailer, not the brand.
Just my $.02 worth.

Jag dealer said x-type battery for 3.0 is mtp87 for over 200 bucks 790 cca. I didn't ask them the temperature range. Napa has one for 160 950 cca at 32 and 720 at 0 f.
So the wifes bringing one home for work I charged the one, and it drops to 10 volts quickly. slight corrosion on post, very slight. I am not changing the neg cable, but wondering if that is a mistake.
These jags... if the tech procedure includes "snap you fingers three times and make a gargle noise," DO IT... or the car will not run correct.
