Coolant reservoir is mounted up by the left side strut area (to the right as you stand in front of the open hood looking at the engine compartment).

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Might just be a crack in the coolant reservoir. Pretty common problem with our cars, but easy enough to fix. Do a search on here as there are plenty of posts about it and you'll understand. Hope that it all it is and nothing more serious and that it did not overheat badly. Let us know how it turns out.

Good to hear it's fixed and you didn't get a second hit with the replacement radiator cost.

I would ask him what has to be removed. I would expect for the front clip to be removed, possibly the crossmember between the two front fenders and then the fan module. He may be trying to gouge you here.

The $$ are starting to rack up on this.

Thought this was just scratches. Did you get some pics of the damage?

I was expecting the total to be a lot higher after the problems with the radiator and removing the front end mounted up.

Enjoy the drive - and don't scratch it!
