Buckman, check out this:
1XXX relates to Enhanced (manufacturer specific) codes P1
9XXX relates to Body Enhanced (manufacturer specific) codes B1
AXXX relates to Body Enhanced (manufacturer specific) codes B2
DXXX relates to Undefined (manufacturer specific) codes U1
EXXX relates to Undefined (manufacturer specific) codes U2
So, your D900 code is really D=U1 and 900=900 or U1900 which is your OBD code. U1900 is in short a CAN bus failure. That codes seems to be present in every vehicle and unless you have suspicion that you have a network issue, I would ignore that code.
E511 is U2511 which is another CAN bus issue where the sent and received data did not match.
9318 is B1318 which is a low battery voltage warning. It may be that your battery is starting to go and what you are seeing is the battery voltage drop too low during starting which is causing a lot of the computers to see strange things on start up. This is not an uncommon thing for our cars.
Hope this helps.

Just a quick note that the S-Type appears almost identical. The codes are kept forever and usually do not relate to current faults. Example: my car got an engine code (P0116). Not logged in the cluster. Cluster still has the same DTCs it had when I got the car over 5 years ago. I decided long ago simply to ignore them as the car has worked fine!
