Thermo, That was from someone that I have never had the pleasure of doing business with, and probably never will.

Now, for the good news! I am so glad that I didn't run out and buy a bunch of new parts or had any expensive work done yet. Seems that the ABS light is one of those 2 cycle things. Drive it for so many miles over a certain speed at least 2 times and if the error does not happen again, the code clears itself. That is exactly what happened. I never drove it more than 30 mph for a block or two when testing. Then, the other night, I went to get 4 new tires. About 20 miles @ highway speeds. There and back. Since it needed an alignment after the strut replacements, she sat in the garage until this AM when I went to have that done. PRESTO! No ABS or e-brake light. Going to keep my fingers crossed and hope the codes don't come back. I'll put my gun away and keep driving her. Thanks for all your help. Priceless!

 

Not a problem. Most OBD codes require 5 run cycles of the car (ie, driven for XX minutes with XXXX revolutions of the engine) without the error occurring and then on the 6th start, the light will clear.

Keep an eye on things and hopefully all is good.

 

I'd go for 3 but hey.
