I did not mean to attack you ohnoesaz. just a general comment..... sorry if it came across wrong ...
I have more fun with a wind up toy than this jag.... My car never works... I am the one slitting my own wrists.
It bugs me that everytimeI fix something it means the next owner will have less trouble. I am set on selling this thing because it has thoroughly pissed me off, but it will be working perfectly the day I give it away.
The next guy is getting a helluva deal. posted on autotrader and Ebay today..

That sucks Remember, things always have a way of working out. I bet you'll love your next car!
My x-type has taught me something very important: Having a cool car is not everything in life. I love it, and its been reliable and fun, but I'll probably get a brand new cheap, reliable and normal accord or something next purchase...
Things always have a way of working out for the better!

Actually I think I do have the same muffler lol... But theres just not enough angle to make the cut into the side of the tube wall, at all. Weird...
Anyways, my exhaust project is continuing in another direction... Ill give his mod another try before I put the new exhaust on, just to see if I can get it to work.

Hmm, I'll have to try grinding longer. It just didnt seem to be making any progress. I definately want to do this before the new system goes on, very curious... Since theres nothing to lose at that point, I'll probably cut a bunch out to see what exactly is possible...

Hopefully you ddn't screw anything up by messing with this crap. I've heard that adjusting my crotch rocket's exhaust was detramental to my internals of the engine, but hey that was just what I heard, let us know what you find and get some video rolling before the borla with the holes and what not!
