Default j-b weld fix on cracked t-pipe on upper radiator hose ?

Vegas weather got extremely hot 45-55 Celsius and my x-type couldn't take it.
looks like there is a hairline crack on top of the t-pipe and just made it home before the leak got bad. so my car sitting in the garage and don't want to drive it like that.
is anybody tried to fix it with jb weld epoxy or use the plastic welder as a temporary fix ?
got the j-b waterweld but i might try the plastic welder before i apply the epoxy.
don't have the tools to fix it at home and i read a few posts here its a pain to reach the clamps and bolts.
thanks !

Not a complete answer but a bit of advice. I have in the past used quite a lot of JB and find the secret apart from initial cleaning of the area. Is DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES attempt to move the joint until it's fully cured. At least 24 hours! Jb seems to grab properly only as it finally cures.
Hope it works for you it's good stuff. It prefers metal but will stick to some plastics.

Mine done this and no the jb weld wouldn’t hold and I even tried them all with no luck and even roughed the plastic up. SNG sells the complete kit. You get both hoses and the tee pipe and the thermostat housing and a thermostat too. I got mine from him on Amazon

Thanks for the replies.I ended up replacing the whole upper coolant hose. Jb didn’t work.
it was working for a few weeks but got another leak around the water pump and under the radiator.
still have to fix that ,trying to find out where it leaks and what can i do about it. Is the system got over pressurized because of the new hose ? Old hoses, sealant can’t take it ?

The jb weld fix is basically a very very temporary fix as you found out. It won’t hold because of expansion and contraction and plus the temperature

Yeah, if the T connector is cracked its better if you change the whole thing but in my case more trouble is coming.
now my radiator started leaking and small leak around the water pump. Pretty much i have to change the radiator i think. Any good thread here about it ?

For sure you don't have to drive your car when it is in such a dire situation. You can repair it by yourself after informing a lot about welding on the internet. Also, you have to order the necessary equipment for starting the work. When I was in a similar situation, I chose to repair the car by myself and succeeded. I succeeded because I read a guide about how to become a welder. How strange would this be but there I found all the information I needed. I think that you will also find the answers to your questions. If you are interested, click here, and you will be able to repair your car and use it again.
