RE: JAGUAR X-TYPE XENON HEADLIGHTS THE WORST ASSEMBLIES KNOWN TO MAN !!!!!!!!
BRETHREN IMPLIES A SENS.....
Oops, sorry.. I mean..
Brethren implies a sense of brotherhood. In turn, a mutual respect for the others within the group. Constant CAPS, knocking of the brand, shafting the dealer, and incessant rambling about your "RARE 400HP V8 SUPERCHARGED HIGH PERFORMANCE" STR (like no one else here drives a Jaguar?) gets old fast. Don't be surprised or upset if you don't receive many seriously replies to your posts.
But to contribute to the "brethren," look at what holds the lens to the housing. If it's tabs/clips/screws, remove them and pry a bit. If it's some sort of sealant, pop the headlights in the oven at 350* for a few minutes. The heat will soften the sealant enough to loose it's grip, and allow you to pry the lense away from the housing. Look inside, and poke around. Whatever is broken, reglue it with some quality epoxy, reassemble/seal the headlights, and life is good.

Can't believe I'm doing this, but....... [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]
What the hell did you do to break brand new headlight assemblies? If they came out of the box broken, you should have gone back to the dealer IMMEDIATELY! (sorry for the capsguys). And leaveyour attitude at home. IfYOU did something wrong, stop whining, man up and tell us what REALLY happened, and maybe somebody here can help you sort it out.
If you can't be straight with us, stay home. And off your mommy's computer.

You can't open them. If its broke then its broke. I had to replace mine when one of my parkings lights fell into the inner bean housing. I tried to "jimmy" the rear of the housing and.............snap! Set me back a couple bucks from buying a used one off ebay. Lesson learned.
Like FJT says, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
