X-Type 2.2 diesel estate problem, owned from new only 25000 miles.
Had problem with turbo where the vanes had stuck but this had been resolved some months ago.
The problem now is it just cut out after 1 mile from home while going to fill up. Had 1/4 tank of fuel but did not go into limp mode and refused to start. Engine and coil lights came up and battery ran down even with another battery to boost.
Fitted new battery after suggested original may have discharge issue that may have carried over to booster battery. Now non starter and coil light does not go out when trying to start.
HELP PLEASE as i love my jag
