I need a JTIS disk that will run on windows7.. Mine won't. Anyone can have mine for the postage, and I'd like to buy, get a disk that will run on windows 7 for my 2003 X-type.. Email me at boobea@nvbell.net Thanks

boobea, unfortunately, no one makes a JITS disk that will run with Windows 7. The best you can do is set up Windows 7 to run a "dual boot" configuration and then also install Windows XP. Then you can use the JTIS disk. The only other option that you can do is get into the disk itself and access the PDF files for the electrical schematics.
The big issue is that the JTIS was written to work on 16 and 32 bit operating systems and this is not compatable with computers that are running 64 bit. I am running into a lot of programs that this is true and even changing the properties that should allow it to be compatible is not enough to make this stuff work.
So, if you do find a way to make it work, please let me know. I have heard (don't know the truth about this) that if you get the Windows 7 Pro or the higher levels of WIndows 7 (essentially all the levels above the Home), these have the ability to run the older programs much better. But, most probably like you, the Windows 7 Home just doesn't have what we need. So, if you spend the $100+ to upgrade to the next level, then it might work.

If you have Win 7 Pro or Ultimate you can install it the way found in this thread.
