ORIGINAL: Dennis

And you will continue to get better mileage even when it gets dirty..I can't believe anybody would be so selfish as to keep using PAPER filters, which requires cutting down and using precious trees, which they are in such short supply...Secondly, they act as air purifiers to scrub the atmosphere of CO2 and returns Oxygen back, hence reducing the effects of greenhouse gases...Anybody, who uses paper filters are just mindless and selfish of the environment.
Dont K+Ns come in boxes (err made from cardboard...made from trees?)
Dont K+Ns have fine wiregauze (manufactured by industry..heat..furnaces..etc..CO2 friendly...err no)
Dont K+Ns need oil (produced from refineries...again not C02 friendly)
Doesnt the K+N oil come in plastic oil bottles (you starting to get my point)
Dont K+Ns come from USA and are transported by air to UK (for those in UK)? (hmm..air pollution)
Its not just the end result of K+N vs paper but the production and transportation that goes into getting them to the user.If any or all of the above is true looks like paper is better. At least you could get hundereds if not thousands of paper ones from a tree??

Don't feel the difference from K & N to stock filter. I haveused K&N filters in allmy cars for years no problem and it saves me about 100 dollars a year in filters.
PS Marvel Mystery oil work well on the filters

$100/year!!!
How many times a year do you replace the air filter?
....the Jaguar maintenence schedule states replacing air filter (normally aspirated engines) every 30k miles or 3 years.

Once again Buckwheat, you never cease to amaze meat your depth of ignorance in your constant attempts to give me ****.

One purchase of the K&N in a box, is once over the life of the car..not too difficult for even you to understand..Secondly, Cardboard is made from RECYCLABLE materials, not virgin wood or paper pulp, so your idiotic example to bash me was only demonstrating what an *** you really are and doesn't hold any water..Do yourself a favor and put me on BLOCK such as I have done to you.
