Angry To knock or not to knock thats the Q

Ok !
After having replaced the whole engine due to a piston failure im back with more problems......
Im experiencing knocks (well not exactly) more of a ticking sound and not from engine but from the torpedo wall area. The ticking does not alter with rpm but is constant and only when engine is not under any strain. The sound does not at all come from the engine.
What the h*** is this now ?.

Pleeeeease someone help !!!

BR
Erik

I use stethoscope in 2 positions:
with stick attached
with stick removed (works like medical one)
Buy it and use it.
I once diagnosed 3 separate rattle noises in Jeep : gate, glove box and cover under steering column.
Get a stethoscope and another driver.

Hi Eric,
I am unsure of the torpedo wall you speak of?
If it is while you are breaking it could be to do with your gearbox clicking, there's some posts here? Good Luck!!
