digumurda, converting over to all led bulbs can be an expensive proposition. So, that is something to consider. But then, if money is no object, go for it.
Option #2 is to buy individual LEDs and then wire them in yourself. The trick with this is getting LEDs in the color that you are after (the ultra white LEDs in your case, 7000K) that also have a wide viewing angle. if you don't get a wide viewing angle, the LEDs are going to spot light what you are trying to light. For a simple switch, this may be just fine, but for something like the instrumentation lighting, this is very bad. If you want to know more about this, let me know. I am converting my car over using individual LEDs. I am currently on the outside of the car using 280K MCD LEDs and since I can't get them in that intensity with a wide viewing angle, I am altering them to make them work. But, this requires some time in playing with the LEDs and knowing a bit about optics. For the interior lighting, as long as you are using say 3000 MCD with a viewing angle of 30 degrees, you should be good. Then all you need is 1 LED to replace the 1 bulb. In my case using the 280K MCD LEDs, they are almost the same brightness as a 5 watt 2528 (aka, 194) bulb, but only pulling 0.5 watts.
If you have more questions, just ask. But, like was mentioned, a lot of this info is already on the forums, you just need to use the search feature to find the posts.

Got the lights! Unfortunately they are a little too long to fit inside the license plate area, so I took pictures of them in the footwell and in the city light areas for reference, I ended up leaving them in the city light spot because my girlfriend wasn't fond of the PIAA yellow, and that's ok because they were for my Audi anyways! Here you go -
If you decide to buy them, I got the color: Cool White - 55 lumen @ 9000K.
Before footwell -
After footwell -
I dont have a good before and after for the city lights since I had the PIAA's in there, but heres some comparison.
PIAA with headlights on, "Hey not so bad!"
LED's with headlights on, "NOOOOOO, yellow headlights!"
Enjoy!

Can you snap some pictures jvegas? If you can, remember not to use flash and try to hold the camera steady otherwise they will be blurry.

i forgot to take the pictures of the interior. i will try and snap a few this week sometime. the only bulb i have not changed on this car is the one in the glove box. i have yet to find a bright enough one that gives good light coverage in the glove box... the hunt continues.
