The iso is approx 8.1GB so you miss something... or using wrong tool to combine the files. I used hjsplit to recombine.
after combining the files into the iso file, you can just "run" the first par2 file..and if the iso is in the same folder as the par2 files the program start checking the iso, and finaly create the mds file (missing from upload).
havent testet the disk.. as I don't have access to the car atm.

Hi, I'm pleased someone has got it working, i have udated the post to include the .MDS file but like you i don't use it. I use IMGBURN to burn the image because it is free.
Did the firmware update ok? or did you already have the latest firmware (white Jaguar on black background)?
Regards,
Steve...

Burning to disk
Once you have downloaded all the files, you must run quickpar to check there are no damaged or missing files (Quickpar will tell you this). Quickpar will then report that it wants to combine the files and then you will have one .ISO file.
If you prefer, also download the seperate .MDS file but that is not too important unless you use IMGBURN which is free to download and even then you can still burn the .ISO.
You will need a DVD+R Dual layer blank dvd
Burn at x4 speed for maximum compatibility.
If quickpar hasn't complained about the file size you'll be ok.

I'm likewise in the US and trying to get just the firmware update. Is there a thread with advice on how to do this? Is it as easy as making a disc with just the loading.kwi file, putting that disc in the nav system dvd slot, and starting the car?
