Exepat where did you bolt the kit to? And did you remove the lower portion of the air box?

i used a factory air box fastener under the filter. it is moderately flexible because the piece is abs.

More info on the XJR vents here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...rpc-jag-34484/

Tire max size depending on wheel diameter for these cars in my opinion is

235/45/17
235/40/18
235/35/19
235/30/20

Just make sure all four corners match and if they talk you into 245s, then you'll need to subtract 5 from the aspect ratio (235/40/18 to 245/35/18), roll your fenders and use pretty high offset wheels. I have 215s on my car now, and even if you are a cornering god, I don't really see the point of anything wider than 225.

A 19x8 (or narrower) with a 40 to 50mm offset and 225/35/19 will fit without fender rolling. It is the same dimensions as factory 225/40/18.

Xf wheels bolt right up and don't need adapters. I have some. Still need to do 225/35/19 even though they are 8.5"

As exexpat said these things are cosmetic at best. I read an excellent article on free flow exhaust in this months R&T. Plain and simple if you drive a street car factory turned a free flow will do little to nothing for performance, just a sales gimmick. If you supercharge, turbo or other enhancements then a free flow might be a bit to reduce back pressure. The article went on to say unless you have a prep'd race car, you stock street car exhaust is adequate for the job it has to do.
