Leather dye
I recently bought a small bottle of leather dye off eBay. I am sure most of you have seen it. I got it from the UK in about two weeks. Granted myleather was in pretty good shape. Only issue was a verysmall area on the driver’s bolster. I think the last owner did not use the seat belt and there were some scuffs where the color was starting to wear off from the buckle where it stops on the belt and a few small cracks in the leather, from wear I guess. I don't think they were very good about mosturizing the leather on a regular basis maybe. But it bothered me as the rest of the seats were pristine. The dye worked great and was very easy to use. I did not dilute it any and used it very sparingly straight from the bottle. I put four coats on total, but each one very thin. The last coat I added a small amount of the luster fnish that is supplied to give the finish a slight sheen. Match is perfect on my 2005 with Ivory leather and cracks are pretty much non existent. I know where they are and I can not see them in bright sunlight. Worn areas are no more, perfect blending of the color now. I am very satisfied.I highly recommend this product and this seller, if anyone is in need of some seat repair. It is very easy to use and works great.

The website for the gear shift knob is http://britishautowood.com/. Saul Chaplin is the guys name and he does great work. Check out the site and you can also find him on eBay. There is a link to his eBay sales items on the website. I actually just told him what I wanted and he made it for me. I found that the auctions were going for about the same as his web prices. He is a good guy to deal with, very responsive and accomodating. He sent me a picture of my knob before I bought it so I could see the color. I have the sapele wood and it is hard to match it up, but I wanted the green growler, to match the one in the center of the steeting wheel. He guaranteed it for life and told me to let if know if it ever cracked or faded, since I am in Texas. But he is in Florida so he should know about how heat might affect it.
There is another guy that sells them on eBay and his look nice as well, for about the same price. But I never dealt with him, so I can not comment on his service.
Edit: I think it ran me around $90

RE: Leather dye
you are correct Aquill1. The ones in the pic are the rear sills. I had many people comment about how nice the front ones looked, so I wanted a set for the rear. Got them on the internet from a dealer in Ohio or Indiana, or somewhere like that. More resonable then my local dealer.
