long awaited pics..
if youve read the oil pan gasket change thread in the faq section, i have some pictures i found. theres about 12 or 15 but ill put up the good ones.
from left to right,
pics 1-3, camera facing same as driver would, but looking up from underneath car, pan on
4+5 camera facing rear of car, oil pan off, tc mount side view after drilling
1-messy oil pan in the beginning. this is a shot of the tc with the back corner of the oil pan, at left in photo is oil pan bolted to tranny
2-a shot of the two lower mounts of the tc, the lower one in photo is the one blocking the hidden bolt
3-hole is drilled. i did not punch through the inner wall of the tc buts lets just say i wouldnt have gone any farther towards where the oil is. after removing the shavings i stuck a socket right thru the hole and removed the bolt carefully, it was pretty tight as i was a hare off and not perfectly in-line, but darn close. a little more right from this angle wouldve been ideal
4-side view of tc mount drilled, oil pan removed, note placement of hole in mount
5-same as 4 but this one shows it all. a tad to the left from this angle
there it is, long overdue. have some more pics if anyone needs -stevis05
