LOVE and HATE

yeah, i find that when i fill up my car and drive really fast, fast as in over 70km/h, on a road outside the city, or just a long road i can get my consumption up to 21mpg, where as if i don't ned to drive that fast my consumption is around 18 - 19 mpg. In winter mine was 16mpg. You guys should of say how bad it was when i got the car, the fuel system was shot, leaks everywhere.

Love:
AWD - Simply amazing. Summer tires manuever on ice but winter tires are unstoppable.
Curves of the hood - Muscular but sexy appearance. Makes it stand out from other Fords.
Leaper - Sophisticated agility. Shows it has class.
Hate:
Lack of power - Who'd ever have thought a Jag could be so underpowered?
Lack of aftermarket parts - Nothing of substance to breath life into this kitty.
The original owner for not ordering heated seats - Who orders a loaded car w/o heated seats? Sports are hard to find so I settled.
If this car had more power and heated seats, I'd keep it forever. Since I can't remedy both, I'm just going to look for something else but I will miss seeing the leaper everyday.

Got mine from waeco.co.uk for around GB£45 shipped to put in the X Type but never got round to fitting it.
Their online ordering is down so did a quick search and there are loads of heated seat companies like this one http://www.heatedseatkits.com/heatedseatkits/index.html
Re power...add some quads for the sound and pretend!

I love the rarity of owning a Jaaaaag Waaagon. I have only seen one other in the state of Maine. I love the beautiful lines of the exterior and the elegant look of the interior. I dislike the cheap feel of the stalks and the center console. How did they find leather with no leather smell. I like the heated seats but, why only two settings. I love the way the car handles on the highway and I am sure that I will appreciate the AWD this winter. How could a 2005 costing over $42,000USD not be equipt with at least traction control. I love the fact that when I am driving my Jaaaaag Waaaagon that women show their appreciation and admiration by lifting their shirts, I dislike that many of them only have to lift a couple of inches. I like the power once the car gets moving. I dislike the early shifts points--it is much more satisfying manually shifting. I love the sound of my quad tipped aftermarket mufflers. I dislike the rather poor fuel mileage. I have the back seat set up with a heated blanket for my greyhound Diane. She love to ride in the Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag Waaaaagon and at times will take a nap in the car while I am working in my garage or doing yard work. I rather dislike the rear park sensors, particular when pulling a trailer. I like being the coolest guy that I know. I disike that my friends from the BMWCCA think that I have lost my mind, and/or have gone over to the dark side. I have had several cool BMW's but, it was not until I got a Jaaaaaaag Waaagon that the wimens started lifting ..................... I like stroking my leaper, I dislike being caught doing same. Time for a nap.

As for power, I have to be content with my C6 for that. Just wish I could get my fix everyday.

Top 3 Love:
1. Sport package handling
2. AWD in winter
3. Sport seats -- hold you in (the Connolly leather ones, not the new ones designed to accommodate 48" waists
3. Gray maple stained wood
Top 3 Hate:
1. A CAD$48k car should not be rusting through the paint & door jams after 6 years
2. Transfer case kludgework (sealed for death, plastic air vent, etc.)
3. An oil pan gasket leak that takes ~9 hours of labor to fix and sends burning oil fumes into the cabin.
cheers,
--Geoff

Love the looks.
Love the sound.
Love the bank vault solidness.
Love the AWD in rain and snow.
-Hate the transmission that jerks all over the place.
-Car now lunges back and forth once in a while when i want to accelerate or get off the accelerator.
-Rattling dash vents still.
-Squeeky steering wheel.
-A/C still sucks after a recharge.
-Slow as hell...but I guess I'll excuse that since it is still fun to rev and listen to it.
