Default Lug nut pattern.

Does the x-type share a lug nut pattern with possibly a more common car like Chevy? I would like to purchase new rims and was wondering if I have to specifically order "x-type" dimentions.

As we all know Ford was Jaguar's parent company and they imposed their wheel bolt pattern on Jaguar from the S Type onwards I believe. The 108mm or 4.25" PCD has been used on UK (European ?) Ford's for decades, certainly back to the 50's.

The later Ford Focus, newer Mondeo, new Galaxy, C-Max, S-Max, and Transit van all use the same 5x108mm PCD. As Jaggyx said newer Volvos (also owned by Ford until recently) have the same PCD.

You need to check the offset is compatible for the X Type (standard is 52mm) however.
