Mice...
These pesky little creatures chewed off the plug to my MAP sensor on the intake manifold. One of them was chewed up right at the plug, so I had no way of splicing the wires, except cracking the plug open so I could access the wire inside the plug and splice it there, however, this is not a permanent solution.
The chewed wires triggered a check engine light. Is this going to cause any problems? I have it hooked back up now, but I am still getting a CEL. I suppose I am going to have to buy a OBD2 scanner and clear it out, correct?
Now, for the permanent solution, I am going to have to replace the plug. My sensor is fine, I just need a new plug to splice on to the wiring, and can't find one.
