MOT ( or yearly transport test for non UKers) :-)
Just to say that despite all the stories about X-types failing MOT (Ministry of Transport) tests due to the A pillar or the sills dont necessarily worry :-)
Just had the first MOT test since I got it, on my 11 year old kitty - and apart for two tyres it went through first time! Notes of worn front disk pads, and a slightly worn bush on a rear shock... things I can sort out at my leisure but a clean bill of health - never known that with a ford or vauxhall of that age before :-)
When the tyres were changed it was found the tracking was out both back and front (front tyres had worn badly on inside edge) - the brake pads I'll do this weekend.. all done :-)
Really worried during the test - the test examiner locked all four wheels from 20mph or thereabouts to check brakes... :-) Never dared to try that lol
