Hey Gonzo,
You should use Private Sells Forum so that you get more attention for XJ , XJS Owners and my suggestion don't forget to make insulations for XK OWners I believe they would be interested at your items
Thanks

His name is Gonzalo Duque, email him directly at tbirddmnd@att.net and he'll hook you up. Make sure you mention you heard it here (the Jag Forum) and you'll get a deal, it was like 65.00 or something and free shipping. Cheaper than EBay.

Thank you. I sent an email this morning. Sounds like a good spring project. Too cold here and no heated garage. Have a pleasant day.

One thing to note, he says use 3M #80 spray glue......it's true, it's the only one to use! Home Depot and Lowes sell it for about 10.00 a can, you'll use less than 1/2 a can.

Correct on the 3M #80! I've never seen it in any Lowe's stores, only at the Home Depot and you can find it in the paint section. When I install on Mustangs I use the entire can. If you can use less that's great, but you need to spray both the hood underside and the liner underside and wait about 3-4 minutes for it to set up and get tacky. You spray it from about 16 inches or so and make sure it comes out like silly-string or "cotton candy" consistency.

Thank you both. I'm going to put the green JAGUAR with the silver leaper on. Won't get to it till it warms up this spring and depending on how much I'm working. I'll take some pics when it's finished. Excited about it. I hate the original hanging down. Have a great weekend.

<< Won't get to it till it warms up this spring...>>

Did it ever warm up enough to install the new liner? Here in the Detroit area winter is keeping a firm grip!

My original just came off the car this week...are there any problems with running the car without a liner? Might have to pick one of this up.

The weather hasn't been very nice so far this spring. Regardless, I won't get the liner on. I ended up trading my Jag. Last thing I thought I would do, but the economy and some issues with the car left me no choice. I still have the hood liner if anyone is interested. Make me an offer. I really want to thank Gonzo and Sidewalkman. You gents are the best. Thank you for all the help. I'll still keep an eye on this forum. Would like to own another Jag someday. Need a new job though. Again, thank you and best of luck.

Sorry to hear that you got rid of the Jag. Completely understandable though. I think unless you are a fan of British cars they can be pretty trying to your patience. Unfortunately I am addicted to them so if I get rid of this it would just put me in a deeper hole with an XJR or something. Glad I could almost help you.
