Looks pretty good man. Those pictures are huge you should shrink em down a lil next time so it doesn't take up more than my whole screen, lol

Welcome Dennis, I'm sure you'll find a few in here that have lowered their cars...and they are black...and they have 18" rims! What you will also find is that none of them can put more than 3 people in their car including yourself! Why you may ask??? That would be because the tires rub on every turn, every rough stretch of pavement, turning hard and probably a few other times...welcome though!

Man I was looking really hard for a supercharger for some reason....DUH you said turbo...wouldnt' make sense to put a charger when turbo's are the way to go for you street guys...didn't the car come with a turbo? What was the rating before and after??? Just curious as I like the rx7's and older cars but not really into them like biggie or some others on here...I'm having a biggie moment!

For sure on getting the body kit...I've seen a few 05's and newer that have them stock and man are they nice!

Hey quil. No, it didn't come with a turbo, at least not this one. No turbo II hood, or intake mani! The Rx-7 turbo II comes with a turbo, but not really all that much power! My S can take em! Now if you take the N/A 13B and turbo that, then you get some good power. The turbo II engine came with a crap load of restrictions in order to comply with the laws of the time! The stock exhaust mani for the turbo II is very restrictive, and the turbo was reliable but not too good for power! He should have around 220HP with that small turbo(comes with like 140 or 150), but the standalone gives him a VERY high ceiling. GT35R on 8lbs on that bitch and call it a day. BTW quil, not that "us" street guys favor turbos, it's just that once you go supercharged, you're done! Can't get any more power off of the supercharger! The turbo you can always upgrade, or simply turn up the boost for more power! Not good if you're not on a built engine, but you can do it!

Well not only that biggie but overall the turbo can add alot more power than the supercharger overall does it not??? Which a supercharger would by far be beneficial to drifters as the rpm range is already high so there would be no lag and has more power...for the most part you can get a turbo cheaper can't you? Plus it has to be nice that it doesn't take anything off of belts...it seems to me though that the peak power you get from a supercharger isn't as much as what you could get out of a turbo...right? I'd say though that a supercharger would seem a little bit easier to slap on and get power more so than a turbo...

Ever see a crotch rocket with a turbo??? I have!!![sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif] Man was it awesome!!!

Ducati made one from factory didn't they? Crotch rocket on boost = almost certain death! Superchargers are a bit cheaper than turbo kits, but a bit more work to set it up! There are issues with clearance when it comes to both of them, but the S/C usually requires custom fabrication of a bracket and then finding the appropriate belts! An intercooled S/C engine in my honest opinion is better than a turbo'd one, because a turbo has SOOOO many things that can go wrong. Wastegate, BOV, oil lines, CONSTANT problems with shaft play, possibility of OVER boost(which might give you more power, but if you're not set up for it, it might blow your engine), the mandatory expansion of the exhaust because back pressure is bad for the turbo, cracking manifolds, and I could go on! The S/C on the other hand, gives better throttle response, and the power is even across the power band!

For Intercooled ProCharger EFI/TPI applications with compression ratios less than 9.5:1, boost levels of 14-17 psi can be safely run with full timing on pump gas, and will produce horsepower gains of 75-100% (depending upon the boost level and the motor specifications). For 9.5:1 EFI/TPI applications running without an intercooler, boost levels above 5 psi will require the use of ignition/timing retard on pump gas, and will produce horsepower gains of 35-45%. Boost levels above 12 psi should generally be avoided even with racing fuel on a 9.5:1 motor. Of course, lower compression motors will be able to run more boost, and higher compression motors should run less boost, everything else being equal. All Intercooled ProCharger systems for street applications are designed to allow the use of pump gas with full timing and will not affect daily drivability.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=2lQX3cOAbes best part is the :50 second mark....

Oh yeah saturday a camaro was in the fast lane I could tell it was just one with a 3.8 because it had the body kit and what not and he hopped over into the slow lane all of a sudden and it sounded alright not loud or anything and than all of a sudden I hear a baawaaahhahhahahashdfasjldhfajlsgha;skljdf and a LOUD whine of a supercharger...thought to myself WTFFFFFF!!!!!!!! Didn't realize until I saw it, it was my truck! Ford lightning kind of got cut off by the camaro that thought he was a cool guy and the lightning lit the gas pedal up!!! Good lord was it a sexy sound! I seriously got goosebumps that didn't drop for a few minutes! It was hard to pull my tongue back into my mouth![sm=drooldude.gif][sm=drooldude.gif][sm=drooldude.gif]
