Yeah I know! The 03 04 stangs were rated from ford as 390 hp and the actual read out on most dyno's is about 410-420 at the wheels from what i've seen and read. You figure you take a intake, x-pipe, pulley and mufflers and you already have a more powerful car than the shelby gt 500 plus its a mere 10-20k less...I like the new shelby but don't! The cost is too high considering the cobra of old with convert. top with mystic paint had a stick of 34k!!! I wish I could have afforded it back in 04!!! They hold value quite well to me...Hopefully they come out with a lightning soon I saw the explorer sport trac they made for the autoshow and that was HOT!!! Made me miss the lightning sooo much...some day will come though!

You could also wire directly to the fuse box...just hook into any accessory that only turns on when ignition is on...I don't know which is the remote wire coming out of the stock radio...actually if you wanted go buy a wiring harness for a 96 and up ford and they are the same as our x's...you'd have to ask biggie for sure on that one...than using that you could figure out which wire is the remote/antenna wire (although we have no antenna...you get what I'm saying)...I'll get biggie to see which one is the remote .....

Hey quil, thanks for the PM. Dennis, I got the after market wire harness for the radio, and on that one, the "remote" cable, which is the blue one, is the one that you would extend to the back and hook up to an amp. Now if you don't have an after market radio, or an after market wire harness for that matter, I would see which fuse controls your cigarettelighter and I'd connect the remote wire to that. Any other fuse I'd be inclined to not use it. (i.e. your abs fuse would not be the wise fuse to choose) If you want for me to take my radio out and see which wire it is exactly on the stock harness, I'll do so. Just give me the Q, and I'll be riping that **** out tonight!

Hey dennis if you are looking into a double din let me know and I'll see what kind of deal I can get you man...pretty sure a pioneer double din at my cost was around 820 or so...let me know and I'll look into it a bit more...I'm going to my guy tomorrow I'll see what he's got...btw mb quarts are nice how you like em? I've had a few crunch amps now and man I am really impressed had one hooked to 2 kicker cvr 12's in my sister's boyfriends escort zx2 and man did it pound! Anyways I'm sure you already know that crunch, hifonics, mb quart and autotek are made by the same company (maxxsonics) so if you need any of that stuff I can get it too let me know though...I'd imagine I get it cheaper than you could get it on ebay but I'll have to look into that as well...anyways let me know man...
