Default Wow.

That's out there.

I like the front grilles - it looks great. Can't tell about the hindquarters, your picture's too small.

Default I'm a Jag Newbie

Dennis,

This being my first post, I want to begin by thanking you for your generosity in sharing pictures, information, and being so friendly. I have just begun my journey with a Jaguar X-Type (2002 2.5L) and I have a few questions.

I want to do some things immediately upon purchasing the vehicle (I am still on my extended Test Drive):

Tint WIndows (20%)- Locally
Purchase Smoked Turn Indicators
Purchase the DVD/Navi system and install

Can you help me with the second two?

Where can I find Body Style parts? Actually I just emailed Mina Gallery about them.
What do I need as far as parts go for the double-din install (wiring harness, antenna, double din bin, paint, etc). I would love to get a list of part numbers and maybe a step-by-step. Finally what is the nicest screen out of the models you listed on page 11 or 12 (I am watching an ebay auction for an avn5435)?

Thank you so much for all you have already posted. I really like the vehicle and look forward to many distinctive miles.

Default steering wheel adapter

first the parts list

1--steering wheel adapter for your volume etc..$47 ebay...if you have a 2002-2003 your in luck

Installation is straightforward — just connect a few wires, only 3 wires in many cars. The direct connection to the stereo means there's no need for an infrared emitter, allowing the SWI-ECL to function even in bright sunlight. Step-by-step LED confirmation makes programming easy. Once connected, the SWI-ECL's failsafe memory will learn up to 5 stereo functions, retaining them even if battery power is interrupted.

Dennis - The navigation systems you mention have 6.5 inch screens. The ones I'm looking at have 7 inch screens. Do you think they will fit?
