Well in an effort to save myself some bucks i may have done the opposite. I just replaced my Oil pan gasket and come to find that i should not have removed the intermediary shaft as it can tear the interior seal... I've been told that Jag does not sell this seal so does anyone know what my options are? Is it a guarantee that it tore? I didnt have to force the shaft out. Is there any way to tell if it is? And if i put the car back together and it is torn what will happen? thanks.

BTW, car is an 02 5spd with 80k miles. thanks

 

Guess i'll just put it together and see what happens....
