Default Need help diesel actuator woes

Happy new year to all the jaguar heads out there. ..
i need advice on an actuator problem. ..2.0D x type 110.000 miles ...problem started at 89.000
I've had 3 of them in the last 18 months....
I've cleaned the turbo including the variable vanes...
There is absolutely no play on the impeller turbo fan bearings...
The arm for the variable vanes is as loose free moving as stirring a cup of coffee. ..it even has the metal "clank " at ether end of its operational limits indicating no crud or build up post clean...
despite this. ..After 5 months of use they are failing. ..
i had the firm who supply the reconditioned units have a look at my turbo..They think its perfect so to be fair they have given me 2 additional units under warranty. .
However including the original unit its actually on number 4 actuator. ..and no doubt in 6 months i will have another failure...
im at my wits end with this..is it bad reconditioned parts or something else
The sdd mongoose indicates that the actuator is the fault.
i opened up the new actuator to check the workmanship of the recon unit...new motor worm gear and new solder connections.
so im hoping the wider experience of you jaguar enthusiasts can help me...
how do.i dolve this problem. ..
Could i retro fit an early vacume controlled unit
maybe be more reliable
otherwise im trading it in on a boring toyota corolla
..
please don't let that happen to me...ahhh.
thanks guys.

Can't retrofit vacuum actuator

Have you tried replacing the electronic actuator? could be a broken track or other non-obvious electronic issue

Thanks - you may have a bad connection / intermittent broken wire in the loom

The ECU may record this as an actuator fault
