Is that what 19's would look like on your car? I'd say they'd fill it a little better otherwise I'd go 20's...I hear you on the sportier looking wheels...they just don't make very many that fit these jags...in chrome anyways...

I love these they would look sick on your car I love the 5 spoke plus they'd be a little easier to clean!

Man I love these rims but I'm not so sure I'd be able to pull off the thug or rich man theme off! You watch Miami Vice they are the same as on the movie on the charger! I just like these rims wouldnt' put them on a jag or anything...

They are actually CCWs. 20s are too big and will draw too much attention to the car. I don't want my clients thinking I'm pimping... lol

I think he must think that it's a Jag. The Jag is pimp all by itself. The lex, well not so much!

I guess but anybody that drives a lexus has to have money its not like the jag that has a horrible resale value...nobody knows that jags are so cheap when used though...it almost makes no sense to not spend $25,000 for a used jag that has 20k miles and is covered by the 100k mile warranty...it is basically a brand new car and it has a bigger warranty than any brand of car except of course other luxury rides...

We like or not but I think this warranty thingy is coming thanks to Ford support .Yeah, it is basically a brand new car and when you own a Jag, you also get a status as well as high prestige

The only problem is that the car is not living up to luxury standards. I don't mind though, cuz I have a JAG

Both of you are correct when purchasing virtually any Lexus over a 2000. Sub 2000 year models can be had for a pretty reasonable price. Also, the warranty and the customer service is probably the #1 reason of repeat buyers. If I soley wanted prestige and fame I would have oppted for a 7 Series Bimmer or a S500 Bense. Both dealerships are local and both are considered very highline cars. I went for the Lexus because their customer service is bar none the BEST in the industry. I have experienced this level for some time now. They have won my business through customer service and really that alone. Oh, and I love driving a Lexus period.

Now, I can't lie, my customer service experience with Jaguar (Berrett Jaguar in South Texas) has been wonderful. They really did take care of me the 3 times I visited them. Unfortunatly, I don't care for the 3 hour drive to get that level of service.

Again, I could see myself in an S-Type Ror even a Jaguar SUV (if one is every created).

Oh yeah I agree with you cobra, lexus are very very nice cars...my uncle in canada had one and I was kind of like in awww in 03 when we rode in it...he was a canadian and man was he a road rager! He always was flooring it and what not and he had my great grandma in the car and he's liek 60 something! That car was super quiet and freaking NICE! There looks to me aren't what I'd like although I love the is series...but just the comfortability would sell me but the price is a hinderance to me...

Welcome benz2jag,

To tell you the truth I wouldn't pay more than 16-17k for it. Given it isn't sport or navi or anything...you want a good price go here...

http://texascarsdirect.com/PublicWeb...2/default.aspx

Shop around before you drop a dime down on any x-type...I searched hard core for 2 days for mine...I found 2003 sports with navi and all that for around 18k last year with warranty and ended up paying 15400 with my taxes, 180 for my tags for my license plate and all fees...so really shop and look around...anymore pretty much everywhere it is a buyers market not a sellers...
