Question New guy fuel pump question.

I have the tank out, new OEM fuel pump. I'm having a hard time getting the new pump in the tank with everything connected. Is there a specific way to install the pump? I understand this is probably a stupid question but this is my first time doing this and I don't want to do it again!

Thanks!
Colt.

Thanks for the link, I got frustrated and had to walk away for awhile. I did get the new pump installed without breaking anything. I will get it put back together in the next couple of days. Hopefully it will fire right up with no more troubles for awhile. I'm anxious to get it out on the road!

Smile Success!

The fuel pump replacement went well, thanks to the info from this forum! I didn't cut the hole in the floor, as this is a clean low mileage car. The under carriage is very clean. Everything came apart as it should. I put 200 miles on the car yesterday, it ran great!
Thanks for the help!

Colt.
