Default New here - X-type Phone Questions

Hey guys,
i'm new to this forum and I have a question, I currently have a 2004 X-type 3.0 without Nav system. I can see the phone buttons and all in my dash but i don't know how to use them. When i press on the phone button it says No Phone. I have a bluetooth phone a Motorola KRZR http://www.cellphones.ca/cell-phones...a-krzr-k1-red/ and i cant seem to pair my device to the system. Could anyone help me step by step how to connect my phone to the car please?

Thanks again!

It sounds like you can not connect the phone. You see when Jaguar made the dash they made one type, with the phone buttons. Just because the buttons are there does not mean you have a bluetooth set up in the car. You can get a wired phone installed in the arm rest (
it's bootleg) but I would not recomend it. I have the same buttons but no bluetooth. I think you can also buy the bluetooth module from the dealer if your vin number is D31148 onward, except E373149-E46479 due to omission of voice pre-wire. the part number is C2N 3689. hope this helps.

Mustapha,

Call jag and give them your Vin # to see if you have "jaguar voice" and blutooth on your model. if you do you are good to phone.

What what what?

What you got there, the BTUM or PSE? I may be interested. I have an AC level BTUM Genius if you trying to piece one together?
