Couldn't tell ya but I've never been mean or said anything to him ever! I've always kind of put him up on a pedestal...Must be busy or doesn't want to waste time with us anymore because he is sick of reading and responding to our bs-ing...than again he was always with us bs-ing along with Jim! Maybe racer, jim, and nineball are having a meet of their own!

update
dropped off the completed boxes at the leather guy over 2 weeks ago and never heard back from him. stopped in the shop yesterday to find he had not done a thing with it - not even ordered the leather. what a tool. on top of that, he told me that the total cost was going to be about $300 to have both covered. needless to say i took the boxes back, gave him a few choice words and left.
next step was to find a new upholsterer to cover them for me. 4 shops later i finally found someone who would do it. quoted price? $70 for both if i supply the material.i really wanted to go with a dark green to match the exterior, but like everything else on this project it was not available. $25 later at joann fabrics and i have some flanel-backed vinyl that is an almost exact match for the interior leather on the X. dropping off the vinyl tomorrow and if things go well should have it some time next week finally completed.
also found a shop that will fabricate the cutom mounts i want for the amp rack as well, i think. going there tomorrow to see what they can do.

Aquiller has his moments, as do I...but we honestly felt a void in our hearts, and as nineball started to fill that void with his inspirational work of art and dedication to his masterpiece...he refused to tell us what amp he used and then he left for two weeks and didn't let us know anything.[
] We were bummed out, but atleast aquill got internet. If not it would've been twice as boring.

covered boxes. it's amazing what a camera picks up. in these shots, it looks like there are some wrinkles in it. aside from the part inside the ring, which will be covered by the speaker itself, to the naked eye there are no ripples. weird. and i even used my crappy cell phone for the pic.
