I have put a pressure guage on the fuel rail, no pressure. Before I go into the fuel tank, i want to ,make sure the inertia switch has not popped. I have a 99 xk8. it's a little button, should be right there under the kick panel, I think when tripped it pops all the way out and you push it back in.

I still cant find it. On the side , I see 5 connectors, and further nto the back of the panel I see more connectors and directly above is the heater motor. Can you be more specific?

On the passenger side, you remove the rubber from the door and then take off the kick panel. I think there are 2 screws. I think the button is closer to the door end than the firewall end.

This is the X-TYPE forun, not the XK forum. I think that is where the disconnect is in trying to find the inertia switch.Repost your question there you'll probably have more luck.
