why on earth dont you trust the engineers?

Ah, wasn't it the engineers that said FILLED FOR LIFE???

OK, I know apples and oranges!

GRRRR.. no no no.. it is sales and marketing that say "filled for life" the engineers are beaten into submission and begrudgingly admit that the components will last the life of the warranty - that is all....

Unless it states that "use premium only" you may use regular from what I see . If you have your PCM reprogrammed then you should switch to premium .
Ummm. we are on an X-type forum.. talking about an X-type.. and guess what..??? the X-type states exactly that.. there is a sticker on the fuel filler door. Also printed in the owners manual.

Haha, once i get a decent paying job, i will fill premium in the cat. The person i bought it from was running regular too. I come from a family of engineers

somebody told me once that an Engineer was 'a guy who gets paid to argue with reality'....

The Optimist's Glass is HALF FULL, the Pessimist's glass is HALF EMPTY..the Engineer's glass is Twice as bigas it needs to be..
