Odd whine at deceleration

Hello,
I test drove an 04 today. The car runs great, shifts crisp and at a good rpm and suspension seems very tight for a car with 120,000 miles. The one thing I did notice is a whining noise when decelerating to a stop. It was only 8 degrees out and if you step one the gas the whining quits. Any ideas what this might be and should I steer clear of this car. I did not know if this was a common sound with these cars.
Thanks

Have the exact same thing at 30 and 60 mph, worse with 2 persons in car and cold. Reading a ton on the forums, sounds like it's the gearbox mount roll restrictor and possibly the prop shaft bearing needing grease, but the first seems to be the most reasonable. Article on this forum page, 'greasing propshaft center support bearing (FAQ) outlines how to grease the propshaft bearing.
