Unfortunately there is no easy or cheap fix. Keep checking on e-bay, you can find a good pair for about 150.

Hey foxtrot, there's a hazy headlight remedy in the x type faq quick link I think, or possibly the detailing section, but it sounds as though you've kinda done this procedure. If the problem is inside you could always take the lamps apart as some have done to install the Audi R8 style led lights. It involves placing them in the oven if I remember rightly for a short period oftime to loosen the adhesive and then they need prised apart. You'll need to be doubly sure when you re assemble them to seal them so as to avoid moisture ingress.....there's a few posats on this procedure somewhere I'm sure

Ah..kinda been bummed a bit...and stayed busy with projects round the house....hanging out with some friends i haven't seen in a few years....all these things i wanna do, but no time!!

its a 2002 with 70000 miles on it ..no problems at all ... i take it easy when i drive it ...i have another car i built a mazda rx7 turbo .thats the car i drive hard
