Got that right Quill.

Its just a shame that the other sections dont seem to be as popular as the X......Some of em are gettin very little traffic?

Why do you think bigs comes on here? I'd imagine the people are different in the other sections...its not just that these are cheaper on here but the age gap is different for each car...older people get into the xj and s-type...otherwise everyone else gets into a x....not to mention most of the people that own x-types they are cheaper and we still don't want to get ripped off in fixing the cars so we come on here...really though I find we like talking and hearing from each other...we can come on here and not get in trouble...well most of the time!

I think you're right Quill.........i think Biggie's an Xtyper at heart, either that or he just relates to the people that drive them.
Think you got it spot on bro.
You only need to look at the topics n post count for the sections as opposed to those in the X type section???

Take out the detailing etc etc and the new member are and off topic.......The X type section has as much if not more topics n posts than all the others put together

Jim,you mean....
Best Fish and Chip shop argument on the other forum...someone said it was in Leicester which is about as far from the sea as you can get in this country!....so this provoked me into telling them how it is....
the one up here called Colmans on Ocean Road in South Shields won the award for best Fish and Chip shop in the UK, it was in the national papers etc.
It even won ministerial approval:-

and featured in BBCs Good Food magazine:-

Seems other people from across the world agree too (even Americans):-
Think I know where I'll be for lunch tomorrow...sitting on the seafront at Shields with some world famous Fish and Chips...wonder if anyone from Leicester will be there to taste the difference

The x-type forum has more people and posts because we are really into these cars and generally are younger people that are more lively and don't have problems talking to other people. In general are noses aren't so far in the air that we can't see where we are going....know what i mean?

I slightly agree, but again, slightly disagree. I know what you mean about the not being stuck up part. Richer people generally tend to be more stuck up, and the difference between buying a $50K S-type and a $30K X-type is vast. Just look at how Phil reacted when Jim said we'd consider adding a new forum. "Just F***ing do it son!" The average person could dish out the extra $$$ to purchase a beautiful X, but not as likely for an S!

Well I think that people that roll the cash into the more expensive cars aren't worried about fixing the car themselves and learning about their cars they will just take it to the dealer...that is more or less what I was getting to...

A bowl...aarrrggghhh[X(].....
Fish and Chips dont taste the same unless they are eaten straight out of newspaper with plenty of salt and vinegar.
Jim see you there at 1pm.

Am there.........where are you????...lol

Fish n chips in newspaper covered in brown sauce ( HP or Daddys of course ) then a generous amout on vinegar followed by a nice sprinkling of salt......must be applied in that order for maximum enjoyment[sm=drooldude.gif][sm=drooldude.gif][sm=drooldude.gif]
