Performance Intake Kit

RE: Performance Intake Kit
Yeah, they look nice and all..But the X is already ram air and pretty efficient as it is..so all I did wasdrop in a K&N and cut out all the chamber baffles in the filter housing..air has to be flowing better now...But I have nothing against CAI ...I have one on my Hummer.

RE: Performance Intake Kit
I thought JaguarXP stopped selling this. I actually purchased this back in Nov. 2007 but after waiting 3 months for it I finally opted for the lower mesh grille. JaguarXP never told me the reason it took so long, all they said it was on backorder.
From speaking with a couple people on Cardomain, they told me that they had to remove it bc it triggered the CEL. Just like Dennis said just get an K&N.

RE: Performance Intake Kit
I heard it triggered a warning light too on a few peoples cars.
I emailed JagXp about this and they said they were working on a 3rd version of it....that was about a year ago.
Like Dennis says best way to increase intake air in an already pretty efficient system is to modify the existing box like here:-
