Plastic Coolant Tank?? (expansion tank)
Hey guys, the expansion tank on my 2004 X-type was cracked on the bottom. I did fix it once with epoxy. After about 6 months, it started leaking again, so I decided to try to fix it again with a higher temperature epoxy.
Well the infamous "nipple on the left side" snapped right off just as I've heard has happened to others.
I'm not looking for advice on how to fix it, as I could fix it easily if I wanted too. I want to replace it with a new one.
Where can I get a replacement for a reasonable price?

New ones are now available in the UK from specialist Jag parts suppliers e.g. http://www.britishparts.co.uk/.sc/ms...ooling-Heating for £70 or ~$110.
If the part is made of polypropylene (haven't looked at mine to confirm) then epoxy isn't a suitable adhesive, but there are specialist adhesives available for it.
