Around town anything from 24 to 26 mpg.
going to and from work... some highway driving, some winding country roads about 27 to 29 mpg.
On a long trip mostly highways or freeways.... across France for example...4 adults plus luggage ... 33.5 mpg.
similar travel unladen 34 to 35 mpg.
remember tho' that a UK gallon is a little more in capacity to a US gallon.

I typically get 25 MPG going back and forth to work. I've gotten as high as 33 MPG on the freeway, typically right around 30. Pure city driving is in the 20-22 MPG range. The fuel economy numbers are very similar when done the old fashioned way (+/- 1-2 MPG).

Well I just averaged 25.5mpg going 70-75mph over 800miles with 2people and a loaded down trunk. The data center is within 2/10 of a mile to mpg accuracy. I also noted that going 65mph yields much higher mileage as the numbers increase more rapidly on the data center going 65 than 71. Going 65 I hit 27.2mpg and still increasing until I started going 71 where the data center maxed out about 26.2mpg. All in all, VERY impressed with the travel abilities of this car
