Predict my future. ABS light, red light, yellow light, DSC System Fault
Every so often I get this. ABS light shows on left display, right display has the red and yellow lights above the DSC system fault message. No CEL or codes. Goes away every restart, but wife says it is happening more often.
Battery is a-ok, proper sized monster under a year old. That seems to be a common cause per the search. I did wear a front rotor down to near nothing before replacing, could the rust from the grinding have got into something? It is covering my rim in a brown coating so maybe something else? Not sure if there are speed sensors up front or not.
So what does your crystal ball say is in my future?
edit, will DSC faults on other model Jags be similar, as in I can search other parts of the site for info?
Ok, just read one post in the XK section that recommends removing the sensors at each wheel and cleaning them, will try that and post results asap.

The sensor coil and reluctor rings are the common thread in all of those errors; if the reluctors are intact I'll lay odds on "dirty" sensors.
There are metallic oxides in that brown dust, and enough of then can cause the signal to be disrupted,
Have you experienced any cruise control faults?
