So according to this post, additional keys after first 2 currently working ones, can be programmed without Mongoose cable and SDD software.

Correct, BUT........................

The keys need to be configured to the car as original keys and NOT configured using the 'two-key' method.

You cannot configure a key (#3) and use THAT KEY to configure another (#4).

The KTM system will recognize up to 5 keys. You must always use 1 & 2 to configure subsequent keys (#3 to #5).

As stated in the document "Upper portion of Key Fob Programming of transponder to the cars ignition to be able to start the car.Must have the two original keys. If one is missing will have to reprogram all keys using Dealer WDS/SDD software."

Basically Original Key 1 and Original Key 2 MUST be present in the procedure in order to program Key #03, Key #04 and key #05. Makes perfect sense and keeps it secure.

I wonder how you know if you have original keys? I would suspect everybody has at least one of them and the lucky ones got 2!!!!
