Default QUIZ: Identify the beeps

Hi! Could anyone please identify these scary beeps? Bonus points for those who recognize the cassette tune at the end.
It's 2002 3.0 XType.

Thanks!

[QUOTE=precognition_remastered;2620511]Hi! Could anyone please identify these scary beeps?
Okay, I''l bite.
Sounds like the beeps from my washing machine after the wash load cycle is complete.
Also sounds like a door ajar beep with the key in the ignition.
What prize do I get?

This thread might be of some reference help, although it is for a different model, it might give you something to check into.
It could be trying to tell you that you have an airbag light failure.
You have one in the instrument cluster and one in the passenger dash wood panel.

Failing that you might need to get the codes read to see if there are any issues with SRS or restraint system, parking sensor, rain sensor etc.
Out of curiosity, is the beep coming from the passenger foot well or from around the hazard light switch area?

I just read some old postings elsewhere that some S-Type owners reported getting 3 beeps on start up which seemed to be battery condition related (down on voltage from sitting or an older battery perhaps on the way out).....just another thought.
