On my 2.2d with satnav,
2 torx screws are behind the trim of the hazard light switch that also has the seat heater switches, this trim just clips out.
The other 2 torx screws are just above the ash tray, to get access to these 2 screws requires the gear stick shroud to be unclipped and then remove the ash tray, then remove a slim trim/spacer that is behind the upper ash tray fitting, then you will see the 2 torx screws.
Then the whole satnav/radio module pulls out forward, then you can undo the cable connectors behind before removing.
The radio can then be unscrewed from the framework module, if it needs to be if you can't see a serial number without doing so.
